Hello there, how are you ? Today is a post about my evening routine. My skin is super sensitive, to the point that when I change my products I have about 2 weeks of strangely unbalanced skin.. So I tend to find products I like and just stick with them. My hair is pretty much the same, being a curly girl, I find a way to go to sleep, and wake up with wearable hair.
★ I start by cleansing my face. I LOVE Clarins, “Lait Démaquillant Velours”. I rub it in with my fingers very gently, and take it off with cotton wool. This cleans my face and removes my makeup.
★ Then I use a toner, I usually use Diardermine “Lotion Tonique” that i just swipe over my face on a piece of cotton wool.
★ I remove my eye makeup with Yves Rocher “Demaquillant yeux”, I like it because it does not have any sort of oil in it, but is still good at it’s job!
★ If I have any spots I use tea tree cream, it’s one of those magic fixes my grandma told me about. Thank you!
★ Then moisturiser ! My two favourites are 1- ‘Simplenight cream” 2- “my little beauty “crème de Minuit.” That I got in my little box and love.
★ Lip balm, I wear lipstick most days so it’s super duper important, I love “Carmex” in summer, and Nuxe’s “Baume de famille” in winter
★ Hand cream ! Every night, I don’t have a specific one, but Nuxe is a really great brand.
For hair, if it is still wet after a wash i use these products after coming it and then put it in two “Minnie mouse ear buns”, and off to bed I go. If it is dry I just sleep on it and hope for the best, usually resulting in my now signature Messy Bun.
Once a week I exfoliate with this lovely exfoliator I buy at Yves Rocher.
I also do a face mask, I tend to stick to the same brand but vary the masks, my favourites at the moment are “Quiereness” tissue masks.
Here is what I use when I’m being lazy after an evening out, I don’t use wipes because they dry me out, so what do I use ? Baby face cleaner + moisturiser then bed. It works a treat.
After that, I get in bed, read my book for a while and slowly drift off to dream land. That is it for today I hope that you enjoyed this post, tell me what you think!
